Northeastern Ohio Defense Force
Auxiliary Staff
Auxiliaries of the NEODF function as associate members of the Battalion Headquarters. Their involvement within the battalion supports the operations and functions of the unit at large. Auxiliary members are a vital component to the Northeast Ohio Defense Force and the team 'esprit de corps'. Their diligence and commitment to the unit is commendable.
Auxiliaries hold the rank of specialists and advance with time in grade. They are permitted to wear the ODF Uniform and are welcome at all training events, call-ups, and social functions. Auxiliary duties include, but are not limited to; administration, communications, field support, logistics, mess staff, site security, training role players (opposing force, hostages, moulage victims, etc.), and transportation. Auxiliary staff do not pay dues; but are expected to serve a minimum of 12 hours each year. Members also need to have proper gear for the elements and overnight camp.
